Matti and Madi
Madi goes to Jeff and their HoCo was last night, while Matti goes to El Paso High and their homecoming is next weekend. More photos then (that is, if he lets me take them).
I love this handsome boy! HOCO 2 of 2! Right after this, he bent down to pet the dog and from then on, his hair and tie were out of place so this is all we have. Cars make the best backdrop, right? S
Seattle, Washington #2
Started today off right with a coffee milkshake from Starbucks Reserve (it’s a thing) for breakfast #1 followed by breakfast #2 at Biscuit Bitch. That Cold Brew Malt was happiness in a plastic cup. That photo was a little core workout.
Day before yesterday, we made our additions to the gum wall.
A bit after that, we went to the Space Needle (this is one view) and Chihuly Gardens and Glass.

Another night shot (no tripod and from a moving ferry). We didn’t get to ride the Seattle Great Wheel this time because I was about tired of the cold by the end of the day Every day.

Snoqualmie Falls. We ate at the Salish Lodge and Spa after our hike and Matti had the funnel cake with fried chicken. I was totally jealous because my pancakes were just okay,
And a random building photo (this was next to Biscuit Bitch) because that’s what I do.
We’re packing up and flying back this afternoon. Goodbye, Seattle.

Seattle, Washington #1
Matti chose Seattle for his Spring Break trip, so I’m loving the photo opportunities but hating the cold. Yesterday, we checked out Pike Place Market and the Seattle Aquarium. Today, we hit the Market again and went to the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass.
Dole Whip! and Peach Ginger Beer on the left/ Blood Orange Ginger Beer on the right. It was amazing. Yesterday, we also had mac + cheese and a grilled cheese from Beecher’s Handmade Cheese. I have no idea how the grilled cheese was because Matti wouldn’t share. The mac + cheese was perfect.
1912 Pike Place, Seattle Washington. The Original Starbucks. Tall hot mocha in a grande cup with extra whipped cream + Puget Sound in the background. Breakfast was from Le Panier Bakery and then we had pastries for lunch too (Piroshki Piroshki), because carbs. The beef and cheese piroshki was everything it’s cracked up to be.
Last but not least: Rachel, the pig.
Marfa x Three
I’ve made two trips to Marfa, Texas for photos this year. The target of the first trip was really Valentine, but I headed to Marfa afterward to get a few more photos because there wasn’t too much to photograph in Valentine. The good light was already gone by the time I got to Marfa so I didn’t get many photos there either…But, I went back this morning just in time for sunrise.
